FPS - First Person Shooting / Performance starts February 27, 2016

INTACT TO THE FUTURE @ Kusthalle Kleinbasel starts March 06, 2016

Michele Di Erre (IT) & Andrea Roccioletti (IT) INTACT TO THE FUTURE Sunday 6.3.2016 | 14–24 Uhr 14–24 Uhr | Exhibition and participatory performance THE TIME CAPSULE 20–22 Uhr | Field trip to public space in Basel as part of the performance WHEN Michele Di Erre (IT) & Andrea Roccioletti (IT) INTACT TO THE FUTURE Sunday 6.3.2016 | 14–24 Uhr 14–24 Uhr | Exhibition and participatory performance THE TIME CAPSULE 20–22 Uhr | Field trip to public space in Basel as part of the performance ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHO Roccioletti and Di Erre share the same studio in Turin (Italy): this leads them to confront their techniques, contents and how to present their artworks. Since they are working on very different artistic fronts, this means that the proposal for their public is increasingly heterogeneous and particularly focused on issues affecting the traditional and the borders art, the visual and the multimedial art, the one that enhances the public as observer and the participatory one. Andrea Roccioletti (1979 in Turin IT), arthacktivist. A post-organic, digital, and weird-art maker. He works independently and in collaboration with theater professionals, visual artists and experimenters of sound, exploring new forms of sharing and dialogue. Michele Di Erre (1979 inTurin IT), visual artist. Autodidact, he spent the last years to experience the peripheral look in painting. The result: a snapshot of his thoughts following the imaginary structures of a daydream. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT A time capsule enables to communicate one-way with the inhabitants of the planet from here to fifty, a hundred, a thousand years to come. With the exhibition "INTACT TO THE FUTURE" the artists Di Erre and Roccioletti discuss what should arrive to the future. The two artists initiate the participatory performance "THE TIME CAPSULE", which will be a collective artwork with the participation of the public. You are invited to bringing your legacy, the items that you want to deliver to the future and add it to the time capsule. The capsule will be sealed and buried in a safe place in public space in Basel at the end of the performance. Simultaneous with this participatory performance there will be a traditional exhibition of drawings and paintings of the two artists. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW > INVITATION AT THE PARTICIPATORY ART On the 6 of march you are invited to bring to the exhibition your message for the future, that will be sealed in the time capsule. Some suggestions: photographs, short texts on paper, small objects; it is recommended that they are stored in plastic bags, possibly sealed. Not good: magnetic media (the USB keys demagnetized during the time, as well as CD and DVD rewritable. Cd and dvd normal, however, are great, but consider that in the future there may be no ways for reading data from certain supports, unlike a text written on paper or other material to perish). Can not be putted in the time capsule perishable material such as food, fluids, and other organic substances. http://ift.tt/1WtAXRo http://ift.tt/1Tot4x5
